Gevalin® is a bael fruit (Aegle marmelos) pulp extract from Zeus Hygia, standardized to marmelosin and gallotannic acid. Rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, it is traditionally used in Ayurveda to support stomach comfort during occasional acidity, heartburn, and bloating, and to support smoother digestion. It is not a treatment for acid reflux disease (GERD). Current evidence is preclinical — an in-vitro antioxidant/anti-inflammatory study and one rat gastric-ulcer study — with no human trials of Gevalin or bael fruit for digestion.
